LILYFIELD HOUSE
EXTENSIVE RENOVATION AND EXTENSION
Originally a 1930’s cottage, Lilyfield House was completely redesigned into a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom residence for modern living.
The front facade incorporates the original iconic verandah, resembling a quaint cottage with two boxed windows that capture the views of the adjacent parklands. This site line heads right through to the same style boxes at the rear of the house, looking out to the backyard.
Inside, the main living area opens up to a large, open plan entertaining area that is spacious and light filled, but also has a comfy cosy feel with the centrepiece fireplace.
A modern house that pays homage to its original cottage features and feel. We thoroughly enjoyed constructing this special home, and delivering on the intricate carpentry details which we are known for.
PADDINGTON
NEW BUILD
On a tight block nestled in the heart of the cosmopolitan inner city suburb of Paddington, this project delivered an entirely new stand-alone dwelling which sits completely separate to the period terraced home.
Transforming a steep, sloping backyard into this cleverly designed residence has enabled our clients to significantly add to the footprint of their home. They now enjoy hosting guests in this lush, private oasis.
With narrow street access common to period and terraced homes, Michael and our team thought outside the box to construct this residence and achieve a quality finish.
SURRY HILLS
RENOVATION
A heritage terraced house in bustling Surry Hills, where our task was to breathe new life into this time-honoured residence, whilst preserving its distinctive period features and elegance.
This project showcases our expertise in seamlessly blending tradition and modernity, and serves as a testament to our commitment in delivering exceptional homes that stand the test of time.

GARDYNE ST
We executed the carpentry package for this new build. The structural carpentry included three levels of framing and roof framing, all then surrounded in beach clad cedar. The feature red cedar sectional garage door stands out as a shining example of our craftsmanship. Solid Australian Black Butt was used for the custom privacy screen, which makes the stairwell a statement piece.

VAUCLUSE
Hoven Homes installed the feature ceilings and soffits throughout this luxury new build. We installed vast amounts of reclaimed and recycled timbers. The intricate finishes of raw feature timber and bamboo all required our expert workmanship and attention to detail to achieve the luxury home finish.
Hoven Homes also framed and built the custom feature fireplaces, feature soffit, front door, and bathroom vanities. Our precision is evident when executing the art-like off-form features throughout the project, including the fire pit, BBQ area and custom daybed lounge seating.

NORTH BONDI
Hoven Homes completed the carpentry for the complete renovation and first floor addition of this semi-detached home.

BONDI TREEHOUSE
Hoven Homes was engaged as carpentry contractors to construct the carpentry components of this building in the heart of Bondi Beach.
External balustrading installed by us is the feature that gives the Treehouse its name. We used reclaimed ironbark to give the iconic building its name. We also undertook the fitout for all 39 Apartments.

ROSE BAY
Michael completed the full project management from beginning to end on this 1940s brick house in Rose Bay. The end result was a total renovation concluding in a luxurious four bedroom home with sweeping views of Sydney Harbour. Modern, sleek and fresh, this was an enjoyable build with a great result.

BRONTE
Designed by Madeleine Blanchfield and her talented team, this new home is situated in one of Australia’s most iconic beachside suburbs. Hoven Homes are thrilled to be working on this beautiful and thoughtful design which incorporates a four bedroom home, expansive basement garage and spacious living areas with unrivalled indoor outdoor flow. A steep sloping block and intricate super structure present exciting challenges that we’re skilled and experienced in dealing with. BONDI
Nadine Nakache Design has completely redesigned this Bondi semi-detached home. The alterations and additions include a total ground floor redesign with greater access to the rear garden, a new top level addition of 3 bedrooms and balconies, and a central, light filled atrium with feature staircase. Situated alongside one of the most famous beaches in the world, we are excited to bring this design to life!
